چکیده
Lakes cover a global area that is about 35 times smaller than the oceans, but carbon burial in lakes and oceans are on same order of magnitude. Hence, understanding processes for such high organic lacustrine systems essential. We applied proxies typically used marine environments including amino acid (AA) content their nitrogen stable isotope composition to water columns sediments three differ trophic states depositions rates sedimentary terrestrial matter. Additionally, we fingerprinting AAs characterise sources fates. show this set tracks degradation eutrophic with total content. Those also have hydrolysable (THAA) as well higher pigment concentrations. While Chlorin Index (CI) showed increasing values depth, patterns were less consistent Degradation (DI). In general, all parameters failed describe most oligotrophic lake due very low sediment. mostly autochthonous origin AA contribute 5–45% material plankton, POM, Proxies based bacterial reworking (ΣV) or level (TL) column relatively sediments. Furthermore, methanotrophic bacteria led increased proxy extraordinarily δ13C (−30 −60‰).

Investigation of Volumetric and Acoustic Properties of Ionic Liquid + Amino Acid + Water Systems at Different Temperatures
This paper reports density and speed of sound data for solutions of the ionic liquids (ILs) [C4mim]Cl and [C4mim][CF3SO3] in aqueous solution of 0.05 w/w amino acids of alanine, serine and proline at T = (288.15, 298.15, 308.15 and 318.15) K. From the experimental data measured, the apparent molar volume (Vϕ), isentropic compressibility ( ), and apparent molar isentropic compression ( ) have be...
متن کاملDietary Indispensable Amino Acid Concentrarions based on Amino Acid Profiles of Broodstock, Eggs and larvae in Yellow fin Seabream, Acanthopagrus latus
study was undertaken to establish the optimum dietary indispensable amino acid (IAA) profile for yellow fin seabream broodstock based on the amino acid (AA) profile of broodstock, eggs and larvae of Acanthopagrus latus. Three isonitrogenous (40%) and isolipid (20%), named diets 1, 2 and 3 were formulated with different ratios of total essential amino acids per total non-essential amino acid...
متن کاملAmino acid-based surfactants
The amino acid-based surfactants contain an amide bond, which may contribute to the selfassembly of the surfactants both at surfaces and in the bulk. In order to assess the importance of this type of intermolecular association, the behavior of sodium lauroyl glycinate and sodium lauroyl sarcosinate were compared. The former surfactant is capable of forming intermolecular hydrogen bonds while th...
متن کاملBacterial Amino Acid Transport Systems
The roles of the cell membrane as both a permeability barrier to foreign substances and as a selective filter which admits nutrient molecules have been recognized as fundamentally important to animal physiology since the first decade of this century. It was not until the 1950's, however, that microbiologists recognized that bacteria possess membrane transport systems, distinct from their metabo...
متن کاملFuran‐ and Thiophene‐Based Auxochromes Red‐shift Chlorin Absorptions and Enable Oxidative Chlorin Polymerizations
The de novo syntheses of chemically stable chlorins with five-membered heterocyclic (furane, thiophene, formylfurane and formylthiophene) substituents in selected meso- and β-positions are reported. Heterocycle incorporation in the 3- and 13-positions shifted the chlorin absorption and emission to the red (up to λem =680 nm), thus these readily incorporated substituents function analogously to ...
